My Story

I have been fascinated with Hypnosis and potential of the subconscious mind for many years. I have completed a number of training courses and I am now a fully qualified Hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner. I have also conducted my own research and analysis into the various tools and therapies that can be used to bring about change. I have been lucky to work with some brilliant people and constantly try to improve my knowledge and understanding in a variety of areas regarding the possibilities of the human mind.
Growing up as a 3rd generation immigrant with 3 brothers, we all fell into the safety net of going into a successful family business. It was hard work and very demanding as working alongside family members often is. One by one my brothers all left and went on to become successful in their own fields. I desperately wanted to do the same, but I couldn’t let go so easily. I struggled with fear, anxiety, relationship problems and severe depression. I thought if I kept myself busy and never stopped that I would be able to manage an “acceptable” life. But the things that we keep buried the deepest always find a way to untangle themselves.
I left the business without a clear plan. I became obsessed with home renovations, sports, learning anything that I could. I was running on empty, trying desperately to avoid my career and relationship issues. Eventually everything fell apart. My symptoms became so severe I couldn’t leave the house. I was afraid to wake up some mornings. Ultimately everything fell apart, and for the first time I found myself alone and isolated.
This was the beginning of a long and difficult journey. Antidepressants, therapists, self-help books, family members & friends. I exhausted the lot. Critically they all play an important role and without them I might not have made it through. But there is a difference between things that make you feel better and actually being better. Getting better and feeling better are both simple to achieve. You just need the right support and tools to get you there. The difference is feeling better is easy, being better is much harder.
Why is this? Because you have to change the way you think not only at a conscious, but subconscious level. You have to identify the patterns and scripts that your mind is running and you have to change them. This is where I come in. Hypnotherapy, meditation and mindset development are the greatest and most effective tools that I have come across in enabling you to do this. I use them every day in life and would love the opportunity to help you overcome your limitations and achieve your goals.
